Daniel Lammin

Actor

Daniel Lammin is a graduate of Directing at NIDA and the Bachelor of Performing Arts at Monash University, and has a Masters of Philosophy in Creative Writing from the University of Queensland. He received a Green Room nomination for directing in 2014 for Master Class (Left Bauer Productions).

He received a Green Room nomination for directing in 2014 for Master Class (Left Bauer Productions). His other credits include Awakening (MUST/fortyfivedownstairs), Sneakyville (Before Shot), Strangers in Between (Cameron Lukey) and When The Rain Stops Falling (Queensland University of Technology). 

    He was Dramaturge on Gary Abraham’s production of Angels in America (Cameron Lukey & Dirty Pretty Theatre), as well as Assistant Director on The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later (Red Stitch), On the Misconception of Oedipus (Malthouse Theatre) and Endgame (Melbourne Theatre Company), and completed a dramaturgy internship in 2014 with Playwriting Australia and Melbourne Theatre Company. He has also worked on several readings and creative developments for companies such as Playlab, La Mama and Queensland Theatre.

    Daniel is also a film critic for the Australian film website SWITCH (www.maketheswitch.com.au) and host of the Disney history podcast ‘Ink & Paint: A Journey Through the Disney Animated Classics’ (www.inkandpaint.com.au). He has hosted a number of public events for AACTA Festival.
