You can make a night of it, arrive early and have a drink in the bar before the show.
We are also surrounded by a range of fabulous restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes. At The Barracks you can have a fabulus meal at Moda and park all night for $15. Just down the road you have all the restaurants and pubs on Caxton Street. Next door to Ad Astra is Bhutan Cuisine which opens at night and on the corner of Princess St is Scout - a fabulous cafe serving breakfast and lunch every day. Below are a few other restaurants in the area you might not have tried.
The Courtyard is our open air foyer where you meet for a drink before the show and during intermission. It is currently the bar for both Galaxy and Pluto. It is wonderful open air foyer for those fabulous Brisbane days and nights. Cosmos is also opened if the weather requires it and it is airconditioned.
Pluto and Patio are located downstairs and at this time there is only access via a staircase. We hope to have a lift soon.

A great place for a bite before a matinee!
Right on the corner, near Ad Astra, was originally a pharmacy in the 1800’s, and has been converted into Scout Cafe, a charming rustic cafe, the kind of laid back Beatles-playing, dog-welcoming, pyjama-wearing joint everyone wishes they had at the end of their street.
