George started his career as a Lab tech for the University of Queensland for 13 years. Following this, he ran his own glass business, providing stained glass, sandblasted glass, and kiln glasswork for numerous purposes including churches, homes, and commercial use. George is also a passionate educator, teaching stained glass at TAFE for 20 years (and counting!). While most of his career was dedicated to glasswork, woodwork was his first passion. In 2011 George joined his local Men’s Shed, with his current home base shed at South Brisbane. This is his first foray into the theatre world, and he thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of bringing the Kittyhawk to life.
