Courtney Farrar

Stage Manager

Courtney Farrar is an accomplished stage manager with a passion for the performing arts, having worked with leading organisations such as Opera Queensland, Queensland Ballet, Queensland Theatre, and PIP Theatre. She brings expertise, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail to each project and is excited to make her Ad Astra debut.

  • Courtney Farrar is an accomplished stage manager with a strong commitment to the performing arts. She has already collaborated with leading organisations, including Opera Queensland ("Cosi Fan Tutte"), Queensland Ballet ("Trilogy"), Woodward Productions ("The Mystery of the Valkyrie"), and Queensland Theatre ("The Appleton Ladies Potato Race").

    In the past few years, she has expanded her portfolio with several notable projects. This has included numerous highly successful and critically acclaimed productions at PIP Theatre, such as "Diary of a Madman" (Matrix Productions), "Al May" (Embodi Theatre), "Australian Open" (7th Floor Theatre), "Accidental Death of An Anarchist” and most recently, "Tick Tick Boom!" (Good Time Theatrics). Additionally, she has employed her skills with companies like Restless Dance Theatre and Blue Roo Theatre Company, both of whom who work with neurodivergent and disabled artists.

    She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Production from Queensland University of Technology, combining academic training with practical expertise. She looks forward to making her Ad Astra debut with Six Characters in Search of an Author while continuing to grow her practice and pursue opportunities across the wider professional theatre landscape.
