Collected Grimm Tales is a theatrical journey into the mysterious, magical and macabre, bringing classic fairytales to life on stage with a playful twist. Designed as a flexible live performance, the production offers two versions of the experience: a lighter, family-friendly show for children, and a darker, more atmospheric adaptation for teens and adults.

The children’s version explores familiar fairytales from a playful new perspective, combining humour, adventure, magic and just enough mischief to keep young audiences entertained. Well-known stories may take unexpected turns. The audience will be introduced to witches, wolves, enchanted forests, mysterious creatures and curious characters in a way that is exciting rather than frightening.

Ad Astra is delighted to announce a World Premiere from our beloved Australian Playwright David Williamson.
""How to Survive a Happy Childhood"" is about intergenerational wealth and the conflicts it generates. While Baby Boomers are hoarding, Gen X can find it difficult to buy a house. Our female protagonist is a University student whose controlling grandparents are wealthy and whose parents are struggling artists.
