Zalee Jensen is an emerging theatre-maker and stage manager based in Brisbane, Australia. She is currently attending the University of Queensland, studying a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Drama, and a minor in Writing. Driven by creativity and passion for theatre both on- and off-stage, Zalee aspires to leave her mark on the Brisbane theatre scene.
Her first project backstage was on UQ’s annual Vanguard Festival (2024) as the Deputy Stage Manager. The following year, she doubled as a performer, and production and stage manager in UQ Drama’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In 2026, Zalee will be joining UQ’s School of Music in the world premiere of Symphony for the History of Time, and is incredibly pleased to make her Ad Astra debut as Stage Manager of Hot Tub.
