Liam McMahon

Liam McMahon is a classically trained actor in both film and theatre, having graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium in 2025. He has performed in over fourteen Meanjin/Brisbane-based theatre productions in the last five years.

Liam is an Australian born actor of Irish and Lebanese decent. He had a close relationship with his maternal grandmother, a Drama and English teacher who shared her lifelong love of acting and Shakespeare with him, sparking a passion for storytelling. Liam has just graduated from his Bachelor of Acting studies at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, having performed in productions including Benedick in Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, Pyotr ‘The Philistines’ and Fernando in ‘Butter’, a new Australian play devised by David Burton and the class of 2025, Mr. Banks and Edwards ‘Blue Stockings’ and Tiresias ‘Welcome to Thebes’. Since graduating, he has performed and written in Things That Happen: The Monologue and is currently in rehearsals for La Boite Assembly 2026.
