Kyle Royall-West
Sound/Lighting Designer
With a passionate background in the creative arts, Kyle strives to engage in every aspect of the creative process. Kyle is an Actor, Voice Actor, Stage Manager, and a Sound and Lighting designer. He studied at Queensland University of Technology and TAFE Queensland.

Kyle has a sincere passion for the creative arts. Pursuing it as a creative outlet through early school life, it quickly developed into a full-fledged passion during his later high school years. Kyle saw himself jumping headfirst into the theatre industry, writing shows, performing and getting amongst the behind-the-scenes work at school. Kyle also attended classes for musical theatre and acting at the Buderim Youth Theatre of Excellence. (BYTE)
He then continued his passion and study at the Queensland University of Technology, studying a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts (Drama). Through Covid Kyle found himself focusing on the audio production aspect of the creative arts. Focusing on voice acting and voice over work, with published works ranging from narration of fiction work, voice acting in video games, serial animation and commercial work.
Lighting and sound design is a new avenue for Kyle, recently graduated from TAFE Queensland with a Diploma of Sound Production, Kyle wants to debut with his designs for Ad Astra’s play Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. Kyle has also worked on many shows and creative processes. This has included recent work as Stage Manager for the late 2024 season of Heathers at the Caloundra Event Centre, produced by Cope Creative and de Jager Productions. -
