Jason has been involved in the performing arts for over 25 years as a graduate of acting, an experienced clown, street performer, singer and a qualified Stage Combat Instructor and Fight Director. For many years Jason’s time was shared between acting and movement consultancy. He taught in virtually every single drama institution – tertiary, private and secondary schools. Jason’s skills were also employed in nearly every single theatre over many years. As a performer, experience was gained through scores of credits in film, short films, TV, eisteddfods, theatre, musicals and more. Qualifications in security, body guarding, and personal training augment Jason’s full time business running his martial arts academy, Brisbane Kung Fu. Decades of success competing nationally and internationally have only been surpassed by the recognition bestowed by the Australian Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Jason is pleased to have the opportunity to return to Ad Astra to add his experience to their latest production.
