Natasha holds a Bachelor of Musical Theatre, and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre (Griffith University). Previous credits include, Cover Madame Thenardier, in Les Miserables (Asia and Dubai tours), The Railway Children (London), The Owl & The Pussycat (NSW Tour), The Happy Prince (MetroArts) Lesbian Love Stories (MELT, Midsumma, World Pride and Adelaide Fringe), and Killer Queens (BPH).
Biography
Natasha Veselinovic is a versatile and accomplished musical theatre performer, writer, director, and visual artist whose work spans major productions across Australia and internationally. A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music (Bachelor of Musical Theatre) and Griffith University (Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre), Natasha brings a fearless, emotionally rich approach to storytelling across both classic and contemporary works.
Her performance credits include Les MisΓ©rables (cover Madame ThΓ©nardier β international tour across Asia and Dubai), Peter and the Starcatcher (original Australian cast), Merrily We Roll Along (Ad Astra), The Railway Children (Cadogan Hall, London), 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (Australian premiere), The Owl and the Pussycat (NSW tour), The Girls From Oz (London Hippodrome, Live at ZΓ©del), Killer Queens (Brisbane Powerhouse & HOTA), and The Happy Prince (Metro Arts).
As a creator, Natasha is best known for Lesbian Love Stories, the Matilda Awardβnominated cabaret she co-wrote and has performed across Australia at venues and festivals including Metro Arts, Brisbane Powerhouse, Moncrieff Theatre, Wynnum Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Midsumma Festival, and Sydney World Pride.
She is the Co-Artistic Director of The Local Lesbians, a queer-led performance company, and currently serves as Resident Director of The Seven Sopranos. Her professional development work includes Ladies in Black (Queensland Theatre), Antigone (Queensland Theatre), The Sun Queen (Cre8ion, Tarita Botsman), Spark (Megan Shorey), and One in Seven (Megan Shorey).
