  • β€œJosh Whitten completes the entertaining and diverse trio of talented performers carrying this sincere storyline with a fantastic range being highlighted from his array of hilarious supporting character appearances. His primary role as Jon’s endearing and assertive best friend from childhood pushes the show from a cheeky and animated duet with McGovern about economic luxuries to a tenderly uncertain ballad on a routine drive to the airport where Jon’s enigmatic and preoccupied friend questions what β€˜real life’ truly is. Together Whitten and McGovern tackle both charming humour and horrendous pain as they carry the production’s ode to music and creativity through the story of their enduring friendship.”

β€œJosh Whitten as Dametas, the loyal viceroy, shines with his impeccable comedic timing. Whitten’s portrayal adds a layer of earnest hilarity to the show, serving as a perfect counterpoint to the royal family’s antics”

β€œLastly you have Joshua Whitten as the narrator and the Gruffalo who creates this larger than life presence on stage, including a warmness and innocence to his roles plus humour.”
