  • Dan is a former full-time performer with Expressions Dance Company (1999–2007), touring extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the United States, receiving Australian Dance Awards and Green Room Award finalist honours for the internationally acclaimed Virtually Richard 3rd.

His career spans collaborations with Queensland Theatre, receiving a Matilda Award for Best Male Actor (1001 Nights), Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role (Grimm Tales), and Sacre’ Bleu!, La Boite Theatre/Matrix (The Wishing Well), Shake and Stir (Animal Farm), Queensland Ballet (King Arthur), Dead Puppets Society (MEGAFAUNA).

Hotel Sorrento is Dan’s debut with Ad Astra and is thrilled to be working with such a generous and joyful group of artists!

  • “As the ultimate outsider – Meg’s English husband, Edwin – Dan Crestani steals his scenes with suitable Brit aplomb (and some hilariously eccentric costumes) as he tries to add some light relief to the more tense family moments.”
