Akansha Hungenahally is an award-winning actor and multidisciplinary artist. A graduate of Federation University, her stage credits include A Christmas Carol (Victorian Opera), Romeo and Juliet (Australian Shakespeare), The White Rose in Concert, Ordinary Days (Be You), Suddenly (DHB Theatrical), and Around the World in 80 Days (24 Carrot).

Akansha Hungenahally is an award-winning performer, multidisciplinary artist, teacher, and Equity and Wellbeing consultant. A proud first-generation Indian-Australian woman, Akansha brings a deep passion for authentic self-expression and holistic wellbeing to all her creative endeavours.
Since completing her Bachelor of Music Theatre at Federation University in 2019, she has worked across musical theatre, opera, classical text, and independent theatre. Her stage credits include Be You Productionsβ βOrdinary Daysβ (Claire), DHB Theatricalβs βSuddenlyβ (Ensemble), Victorian Operaβs 'A Christmas Carol' (Martha/Young Fan/Belle), Australian Shakespeare companyβs βRomeo and Julietβ (Juliet U/S), The White Rose in Concert (Magdalena), and 24 Carrot Productionsβ βAround the World in 80 Daysβ (Ayusha).
She was also a semi-finalist in the inaugural Artists of Colour Initiative (2020) and appeared in the Green Room-nominated video phenomenon I Need You To See Me by Vidya Makan. Akansha is currently studying a Master of Music (Vocal Pedagogy) at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, and can be found teaching singing at the Brisbane Music Studio in Morningside and the Akansha H Vocal Studio in Carindale.
