Aimee Sheather

Scenic Artist

Aimee Sheather (she/her) is a Meanjin based theatre maker. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Built Environment: Interior Design at QUT. She has previously worked alongside the University of Queensland Opera Society, Villanova Players, Underground Theatre Company and Hanson Creative in various production roles.

  • Aimee Sheather is currently studying a Bachelor of Built Environment majoring in Interior Design. She is honing her skills in spatial design for both on and off stage. After performing in her youth, she began a Bachelor of Fine arts majoring in Technical Production. After completing half of the course, she discovered her passion for spatial design and moved into her current degree. 

    Aimee has been taking the skills she learned from her prior study and put them into practice and has worked alongside the UQ Opera Society in their productions of Eine Nacht in Venedig (2023) and Marriage of Figaro (2024) in the stage management team. 

    She has been able to use her creativity to work as a Production designer for Underground Theatre Company for Rotterdam (2023). More recently she has acted as Set Designer for Hanson Creative’s productions of Trail to Oregon (2025) and The Lightning Thief (2025). 

    Aimee has also worked at Queensland Theatre and La Boite Theatre as a Front of House member since 2022, and at QPAC in the same role since 2023.
