Sharnee Tones is an Australian actor and artist best known as the voice behind Rhonda Saltie in Like A Photon’s Netflix Animated Feature “Daisy Quokka: World’s Scariest Animal”, and her award-winning performance in Pieces Of Work Productions’ “Bliss Of Evil” on Amazon Prime.

Recently Sharnee reconnected with her theatre roots with lead roles in “1+1”, a fast-paced two hander comedy about life, love, and choices; and Stephen Vagg’s “All My Friends Are Returning To Brisbane”, the highly anticipated sequel to his beautifully crafted and nostalgic feature film “All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane”.

Growing up in country Queensland, Sharnee discovered her passion for the arts after immersing herself in the world of theatre. Moving to Brisbane from a small town (and even smaller theatre community) in 2012, Sharnee went on to complete her Advanced Diploma of Arts (Acting) in 2014 and has since performed in a multitude of films as an actor and voice over artist.

Sharnee also works as a Boxing Coach and is an avid believer in the benefits of physical exercise in deepening the Mind/Body connection and supporting mental health. This work supports her strong physicality for performance on both stage and screen, and has been an important and grounding element throughout her career.

Reviews

The entirety of the cast worked so well as a cohesive collective, it is difficult to describe their performances individually. Each were committed to their character, which had clearly been researched and developed into well-rounded and thought out personalities, and interacted with one another with the familiarity one would expect from members of a sports team. Each brought a powerful intensity, light and shade and above all, energy, to their performance. Each actor was faultless in their execution of dialogue and blocking contributing to the overall professionalism of the show.

Sharnee Tones’ dedication and authority came through in strides. Emily Marszalek embodied the awkwardness of her character with authenticity.

Sharnee Tones is perfectly cast as #25, the team coordinator, trying to keep the girls motivated, well trained and displaying decorum in public, while dealing with some shifting priorities in her personal life.
