Fiona Kennedy is Creative Director and its Executive Producer is Gregory Wilken. Fiona and Dan Kennedy own 210 Petrie Terrace which is the new home of Ad Astra Theatre Company from 2025.
The Executive Team are supported by an Advisory Group that meet every quarter to look towards the future of the theatre company. This group is made up of theatre and corporate professionals each bringing a unique view but also a variety of expertise to ensure the bright future of the company.
Ad Astra's success is also due to the overwhelming support it gets from the creatives who come from all parts of the industry around South East Queensland. These creatives are are part of the Constellation Team that meet twice a year to bring ideas to the table for discussion. The Advisory Team takes these ideas, decides on which ones to implement and then sees them through to completion.

Ad Astra Directors, Dan and Fiona Kennedy both have a passion for the arts, which is shared by the whole family.
They saw a need in the Brisbane market for a professional theatre that could allow emerging and established artists to showcase their performance and creative skills to the Brisbane theatre going community.

We are passionate about providing a space for the creatives of Brisbane to showcase amazing works.
A space was created in an old corporate office in 2018 which transformed it from an old tired building into a beautiful black box. The space allows for it to be transformed into homes, barns, patios, offices and everything in between. It has seen the likes of The Laramie Project, Red, Toy Symphony, Spike Heels, Kelly, Of Mice and Men and The Realistic Joneses.
Its shows and creatives have been nominated for, and won, Matildas.
