Fiona made her debut on the stage at age four and her passion for the performing arts has never waned. She studied literature at University, taught theatre to high school, performed and directed plays in community theatre, sung in choirs and acapella ensembles and danced her way through numerous musicals and dance competitions. Ad Astra is the second theatre troupe she has helped to establish.

Among her directing credits, Jacqueline has The Wizard of Oz, King Lear, Calendar Girls and Five Women Wearing the same Dress. Her favourite acting roles include Gwen in Away, Becca in Rabbit Hole and Natasha in Rough Crossing. Jacqueline has produced, written and directed many shows and is thrilled to be a part of the Ad Astra team.

Dan Kennedy works in the theatre. The operating theatre that is. When there is not enough drama ther, he joins his wife on stage, sometimes even as her husband! Dan has performed in a number of shows with Villanova Players and Beenleigh Theatre Group, Including "Rabbit Role," his favourite.
Actor/director/social media manager
Louella is a recent graduate of QUT's Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama), with a major in Creative and Professional writing. Her most notable roles including Shelby in "Steel Magnolias," Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing" for Villanova Players, Lily in "Everything's Coming up Charlie" and June-July O'Leary in "Kidnapping for Jesus" (QUT) and Louise in "Gypsy" (BTG) Louella is also credited with assistant/ co-directing for QUT and BTG.
Angus has been performing in theatre since 2009. He was involved with the La Boite Young Actors Company in 2019. Last year he graduated with a Bachelor of Acting & Performance. Since, Angus has directed a production of Have I None for Anywhere Festival, created a performance called Chair-ish the Moment for Short + Sweet and completed an Apprenticeship with Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble. He will appear in Henry IV Part 1, playing the role of Hotspur.
FELICITY (FLIC) O'LEARY
Actor/ Graphic Artist in Residence
A Brisbane based actress currently undertaking a Drama Degree and a Diploma of Graphic Art, Felicity has undertaken 3 years of intensive training with Shake & Stir Theatre Company and the Actor’s Workshop. With a further 12 years’ experience in Irish Dancing and 4 years’ in Musical Theatre, Jazz, Tap and Ballet. She has been a part of So Much to Tell You, A Midsummer Night's Dream, DAGS, Romeo & Juliet, The Passion, Macbeth, April’s Fool and Trysts and Treasures.
Roslyn Johnson hails for North Qld where she directed a range of plays for Townsville Little Theatre and musicals for schools. Since moving south she has directed shows for Beenleigh Theatre Group, Phoenix ensemble and Villanova Players, and is the current Beenleigh One Act Play Festival coordinator as well as being the Artistic Director of Footlights Theatrical Inc.
Italian-born Eleonora Ginardi is a bilingual performance artist and educator. After studying acting and education at QUT she completed a Masters in Professional Practice (Performing Arts) at the USC. Eleonorahas trained in physical theatre, Impulse Response Training, Practical Aesthetic, Viewpoints and Butoh. She is a member of Zen Zen Zo, heartBeast Theatre Company, Access Arts and Danteatro Theatre Company as well as Ad Astra.
Dani has been involved in theatre for about twenty five years, working lighting and sound for large scale and smaller productions. She has worked with the Arts Theatre and Villanova Players. Dani is also available for external employment for sound/lighting operation.
John graduated from QUT with a BFA in Drama in 2017. Has has performed in multiple original works, including his graduate piece "The Things We Lost." Since graduating, John has written for "The Ppl vs @RealDonaldTrmp" at Metro Arts as well as "Signed and Sealed" at "Anywhere Theatre Festival"
Lillian has been involved in drama since her first year of high school, where she found her love for theatre and acting. She has performed in plays such as So Much to Tell You, Little Women and Beyond the Neck, as well as playing a small role Godspell and a lead role in The Wizard of Oz.
Georgia is making her debut on the professional stage. While at school she has performed in "Romeo and Juliet," "The Mayne Inheritance" and stole the show as the wicked witch in "The Wizard of Oz." She's hoping Ad Astra is the springboard she needs to launch into this field.
Fresh from school. Priya is studying a bachelor of communication and arts at UQ. Growing up with a love of theatre and a foundation in music, she has performed in various school musicals such as "The Trials of Alice in Wonderland" as the Queen of Hearts and has studied at NIDA open. Priya is thrilled to be a part of Astra Nova's production of X-Stacy.
Scott is a Brisbane-based performer. You may have seen him in previous shows such as "Sherlock and the Ripper," "The First," "Cleopatra," "Haircuts" (tour), "Unoriginal Sin, "Charlotte's Web," "Much Ado About Nothing" and other shows around Brisbane and Australia. Scott is very excited to be taking on the role of Fergus in X-Stacey.
Mikayla is a recent graduate of QUT's Fine Arts Bachelor, majoring in Drama. She has been working as an actor and director for the past seven years with theatre companies in both Townsville and Brisbane, such as Growl Theatre, Full Throttle Theatre and Props Youth Theatre.Mikayla has also contributed to the creation of two new original works: "The Things We Lost" and "Signed and Sealed" over the past year.

RICHARD JOHN MURPHY
Richard has been involved with amateur and semi-professional theatre in Brisbane for nearly 25 years, appearing in a diverse range of musical, comedy and drama productions. Most recently seen as "Senex" in Brisbane Arts Theatre's "...Forum." Richard is delighted to be involved in this exciting new theatrical adventure.
Ryan's long stage history includes regional performances in "Summer Rain," "Fame: the Musical" and "42nd Street." After moving to Brisbane, Ryan starred in the acclaimed Brisbane premiere of "Naked Boys Singing at the Stage Door" dinner theatre. A multitude of other comedy and character roles followed, including "The Outback Pub," "Solid Gold Disco," "Club 80s" and many more, even Shakespeare. Ryan is delighted to be breaking ground with Ad Astra.
Treading the boards and bringing a character to life is simply just a fun way to spend your day. As a writer, producer and director of his company 44 Gallon Films, Shea works with clients to bring their story to life. His love for the creative process has seen him produce numerous short films while also jumping in front of the camera and on stage for various productions.
